On 4 and 5 October 2024, the 19th Francophonie Summit will take place in Villers-Cotterêts. To celebrate this year of pride in the French language, the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs is launching the Francophonie Festival, “Making a Better World”, and the #SingInFrench competition on social media.

On the road to Paris 2024!
Just a few months ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the French Embassy in the United Arab Emirates organized a sporting event at Sorbonne Abu Dhabi in the presence of Omar Al Marzooqi, an Emirati show-jumper who will be competing in the Olympic Games, this summer in Paris.

Gender equality is a priority for France. With its feminist diplomacy, the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs visibly delivers on this commitment internationally.

H.E. Franck Riester, Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade, Economic Attractiveness, Francophonie and French Nationals Abroad visited the United Arab Emirates from February 25 to 27, 2024 and participated in the 13th Ministerial Conference (MC13) of the World Trade Organization (WTO).
