Visit of Florence Parly to the United Arab Emirates [fr]
The Minister of the Armed Forces, Florence Parly, paid a visit to the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. On the agenda: meeting with H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, and visits to French forces stationed in the United Arab Emirates and the Louvre Abu Dhabi
During her visit, the Minister of the Armed Forces visited the French Forces in the United Arab Emirates, on the Abu Dhabi naval base. On this occasion, Florence Parly received the military honors and met with the men and women who work every day to the security of the French citizens, in collaboration with the UAE allies.
The minister then went to Louvre Abu Dhabi, icon of the exceptional partnership between France and the United Arab Emirates, where she visited the exhibition "Japanese Connections" as well as the creative space "Manga Lab".
Florence Parly finally met with H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
This visit is part of a trip, from 19 to 25 September, 2018 to Britain, Australia and the United Arab Emirates, strategic partners of France in the fight against terrorism.
