There is no distinction between foreign and French students: access requirements are identical, the diplomas and registration costs are the same.
The National Agency CAMPUS FRANCE is responsible for promoting French foreign higher education. It is represented by 135 spaces, Campus France is located in 107 countries.
The agency supports the students through all the steps of their research: PROMOTION, INFORMATION, REGISTRATION, and help them with pre-departure visas.

Students applying for a long-stay student visa must stamp their file from Campus France UAE.
If you are a non-European citizen, you will need to apply for a student visa. There are two types of student visa. Each one of them has their own form.
1- Schengen visa for studies : this type of visa is for students who are going to study in France for less than 3 months. Students must download the Schengen visa form on France Visas website and fill it out digitally.
2- Long-stay student visa : this type of visa is for students who are going to study more than 3 months. Students must download the long stay visa form on France Visas website and fill it out digitally.
Concerning the visa procedure, you will need to complete digitally a long-stay visa or a Schengen visa application form and will have to produce the required documents. The checklist can be found onFrance-visas website.
Once you have gathered everything, we will schedule an appointment with Campus France in Dubai or Abu Dhabi to review your application documents and to stamp your visa application form. All the listed documents are necessary for the appointment including a financial guarantee letter - if applicable - ensuring a monthly allowance of 615 euros or more from your guarantor.
Please note that only students with a long-stay student visa form should stamp their file from Campus France UAE. Otherwise, for Schengen visas, students can schedule an appointment with our service provider VFS Global in order to submit their file and passport.
Then, another appointment with our service provider VFS Global will have to be booked to drop your passport and documents off. Please be informed that the visa section keep the passports during the process of the application.
The visa application process can begin no sooner than 90 days before the departure date, and visa process may take up to 15 working days. However students may start the Campus France application as soon as they have received their acceptance letter.
