L’Ecole Van Cleef & Arpels returns to Dubai [fr]

From March 28 to April 13, 2019, the world’s first school of jewellery arts, L’ÉCOLE Van Cleef & Arpels is coming back to the Middle East for its second edition this spring after a widely successful debut in 2017.

After launching the first regional campus in Dubai in 2017, and welcoming 3,000 visitors over three weeks, the Paris-based school will again set up a nomadic campus in In5 at Hai d3, Dubai Design District, presenting a programme for the general public to discover the savoir-faire, history and culture of fine jewellery and watchmaking.

The programme will offer 24 classes organised around four themes: The Savoir-Faire (Know-how), the Art History of Jewellery, the Universe of Gemstones, and Creative Workshops for children. Ranging from evening conversations to exhibitions and complementary outdoor cinema screenings, the campus cultivates experiences for anyone interested in art, history, jewellery and contemporary culture.

A la carte program of courses and talks, accessible to everyone with no pre-requisites, inviting the public to learn about the savoir faire of jewelry-making techniques, the world of precious stones, and the art history of jewelry, guided by leading experts.
All of the instructors will travel to Dubai from Paris and will teach the same programs offered at L’ÉCOLE in Paris.
